*Welcome to 3rd Grade with Ms. Pedernales *
I hope everyone is doing well. I know you'll do great at Remote Learning! Don't forget, I'm here to help, but always work hard and try your best!
Here you will find all of the homework assignments for each day. Please complete each day's work as soon as possible, so you can start fresh in the morning. If you have any questions about the work, be sure to ask your parents/guardians to email me.
Friendly reminder ... each week class site will be refreshed/updated/while deleting work etc. This will be done, so it does not get too overwhelming for the children to follow (and keep track), while reading on the screen etc. So please, either print or copy and paste the material in a safe place, if you need to refer back to anything.
Dear Parents and Guardians,
First, we would like to say that we miss you all and we are praying for your safety and wellness.
During this trying time in our nation, and especially in our school community, we will band together, even if it is virtually, and we will get through it. Let us cling to our faith and trust our God to sustain us and fill us with His peace.
The remainder of this letter will serve as an introduction to “remote learning” which will be our learning platform for the weeks to come. Please note the expectations and guidelines for each subject and have your child/children adhere to them to the best of their ability. There are no specific times whereby children should work on particular subjects, but we do believe a schedule of some sort will keep them on track and running smoothly. If possible, have your child do their school work in a designated area each day for consistency. The daily expectations list,(see below) is a reference sheet for what is expected from students. All other work will be posted under each day.
We ask that you be patient with us over the next few weeks, but also be confident knowing that we will do our best to ensure that your child/children continue to grow in knowledge and in their faith.
If your child does not do any of the online assignments (Readworks, Google Classroom, Discovery Ed, etc.), he/she will be marked absent for the day.
